OMGcon is a three-day anime convention held at the Owensboro Convention Center in Owensboro, Kentucky. This year the convention ran June 20-22.
The name of the convention comes from the common abbreviation of Oh My God and it began in 2006 because there was no other convention of its type in the vicinity.
This is a smaller convention with only about 2000 attendees, but those attendees have a blast. Besides hanging with friends you can attend panels, do some gaming or shop at the vendors.

Many small cons do not have guests, but this one does. Special guests included voice actors Greg Ayres and Kevin Miller, as well as the comic artist Beetle Moses. Other guests included cosplayers, Youtubers, artists, and writers.
This is a fun, well-run that I rarely see complaints about. Staff are friendly and the location is easy access with lots of parking. Overall its seems like a great little convention that is worth attending if you are in the area.
