MEGACON Orlando 2026 has invaded the Orange County Convention Center for four days of Fandom activity. Running March 19-22 this event is a packed weekend of Comics, Cosplay, Chaos and fandoms.
We had told you on Friday about the crowds and the overselling and we had expected to see much worse on Saturday. Amazingly, it wasn’t. We had also commented on the internet problems and prompted you to bring cash, those also seemed to have improved on Saturday. We also apologize to anyone that followed our advice as the food stands will not take cash and are card only.
Moving and navigating around the celebrity area was relatively easy. However, there are numerous complaints about signage, security, and personnel training. A lot of people are talking about rude convention workers that had no clue what was going on. There is no defense for their rudeness, but their lack of knowledge is entirely up to the training that they were not provided.
There was a lot of complaints about the ADA non-compliance. But, seriously folks you are in Florida, do they take any civil rights seriously down there? From what I can see they probably provided the absolute bare minimum as required by the law, but not a scrap more.

I am not seeing as many complaints about navigating the cosplay area, but I think most cosplayers expect tight quarters on Saturday and don’t plan to move around much. The bigger costumes are not going to move far from the photos areas.
