C2E2 2026 ran March 28- 29 at the McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. It was a weekend for pop culture fans. Celebrity guests such as Elizabeth Olsen, Charlie Cox, and Christopher Eccleston drew massive crowds. The event also boasted the nation’s largest Artist Alley, where top names in the comics industry rubbed shoulders with the up and comings.
Friday at C2E2 2026 kicked off with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, opening the show floor at McCormick Place to thousands of fans. The day’s highlight was when Elizabeth Olsen moved into Main Stage to discuss her journey as the Scarlet Witch. Later in the day fans enjoyed a panel featuring the cast of Uncharted.
As the show floor closed, the energy shifted to the Emo Social Party, capping off a vibrant first day of comics, community, and cosplay.

Friday was the first day of C2E2. The cosplay started off strong and only got better as people arrived later in the day. I attended the Metal Gears photo shoot, so I have several photos from there. Overall it was a great day for cosplay.
