Motor City Comic Con (MC3) just held it’s Spring edition over May 15-17. This is Michigan’s largest and longest-running pop culture event. Their next event is their fall show slated to occur November 13-15. Both events are held at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi, MI.
This three-day event brought in some heavy hitters, the celebrity guest list spanned across multiple genres, decade, and acting styles. A few of the notable guests included William Shatner, Henry Winker, Kit Harington, Karl Urban, Nolan North, and Patrick Warburton. They also had a massive Artists Alley with over 200 illustrators, writers and comic creators.
Cosplay is one of the pillars of this event. On the main show floor you will see everything from closet cosplays to elaborate armor builds, and thanks to David Holthof we get a glimpse of some of it.
