’Twas the night before Dragon Con, and all through the town, Not a fan was asleep, from the skyway on down;

Not a fan was asleep, from the skyway on down; The banners were hung in the windows with care,

In hopes that the celebrity guests soon would be there. The vendors were nestled all snug in their booths,

Unpacking rare comics and nostalgic displays; While early-bird cosplayers showed off their flair

And shrines were erected on carpeted stair. The steps stood so empty, spotless, and clean,

Just waiting to host every epic group scene;

And heroes rolled sleeves up to give what they could, As the giant Blood Drive brought out true brotherhood.

When down in the lobby there rose such a clatter,I sprang from the elevator to see what was the matter.
‘Twas Bryan Humphrey in grand mad-scientist mode, Setting up his famous portrait-taking abode!

From September the 3rd through the 7th they’ll stay, As downtown Atlanta turns night into day.
For five days of gaming, fan panels, and art, The mega-event of the year’s set to start!
So grab up your badges and march with delight—“Happy Dragon Con to all, and to all a good night!”
