AkaiCon is an annual anime and fandom convention that takes place in Lebanon, Tennessee. This 3-day event took place June 27th to 29th at the Farm Bureau Exposition Center. This year’s theme experience was “Mecha” providing a memorable experience for those who attended.

This event was started in 2013 by Devin Adkins, Cody Thomas, and Cody Bottoms when they decided to host a fun event for fandoms.
The 11th annual event featured a packed schedule of events with something for everyone. Gamers found their home in the tabletop gaming section, supplied by NAGA, while others took the opportunity to explore engaging panels and workshops. The dealer room and artist alley was a treasure trove of unique artwork, collectibles and handcrafted works.
