Anime 405 is an anime convention held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that ran December 13-14. Officially launched in January 2024, the convention grew quickly due to the expertise and experience of the organizers. 4 Horsemen Events has been creating running a series of conventions named after area codes or local landmarks across the United States.
Anime 405 is a guest heavy show and brought in several voice actors from popular shows. A large portion of the show floor is laid out to maximize fan interaction, featuring expansive signing areas and engaging Q&A panels. Voice guests included those from both current and older animes such as Sailor Moon, My Hero Academia, Naruto, Hazbin Hotel, One Piece, Dragon Ball and several others.
Even though the guests are the main feature there was a lot more going on. There was an Artist Alley that focused on Anime inspired prints and Japanese focused crafts as well as a vendor area marketing imported merchandise.

Like most conventions we like to cover, the cosplay game was strong with several people showing off their skills. Cosplayers wandered the floor and participated in photoshoots. They also had a cosplay contest that drew several higher end costumes. Thanks to Brian Lee Mitchell we get to see some of the cosplay that was on site.
