C2E2 2026 runs March 28- 29 at the McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. This was the place to be this weekend. Unfortunately it did run in competition with a few other events. You had Planet City Kansas City and Wonder Con in California, both pulled a lot of big vendors, celebs and attendees.
Saturday was slower than it has been in previous years, but there was still a crowd. It was easier to wander through the vendor areas, though honestly there wasn’t a whole lot that interested me. My problems with many of the vendors these days is that they sell the same things. There was a lot of dice vendors, but many of them had (what looked to me) the same dice. They just offered different gimmicks and packaging. It was the same with Vendors of light sabers. There were also several tea and coffee merchants, but they did seem to have different offerings. Chocolate Moonshine had three locations, Wild Bills Soda had two. I saw a wide variety of comics being offered and I enjoyed wandering through writers block to see what was on offer.

This is only part 1 of my Saturday photos, unfortunately I have encountered a little bit of a set back due to a computer malfunction. and did not get any published on Sunday morning. Even today I am having some problems and running off of an old computer that hadn’t even been booted for a year.
