Chicago Tardis ran November 28-30, at the Westin Chicago Lombard in Lombard, Il. This is a 3-day Doctor Who event, that celebrates everything about the 61 year old franchise.
The convention took a big leap this year by securing the Ninth Doctor, Christopher Eccleston in their celebrity lineup. Eccleston was joined by Jo Martin, who played the Fugitive Doctor. Other Doctor Who talent that was on site included Carole Ann Ford (Susan Foreman), Katy Manning (Jo Grant), and Annette Badland (Margaret Slitheen).
There was a lot to do from listening to creators and actors’ panels on a variety of subjects about the series, to a screening room where you can sit back and watch episodes of Doctor Who. You can also get photos and autographs with the guests, attend fan panels, go shopping, and or check out a general cosplay panels. This is a smaller, more intimate event but you will not run out of things to do.

Friday was a beautiful bright sunny day for the convention and I got several good cosplay photos. I also attended the Cavalcade that evening. Unfortunately, the snows moved in for Saturday and I was unable to make it.
