FAN EXPO Chicago 2025 is here from August 15-17 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. One day in and we already have hundreds of cosplay photos to edit and put up for your viewing pleasure.
We’ve been covering this event since the days of Wizard World and every year is enjoyable. This year had a great celebrity lineup. All genres were covered from sci-Fi to Anime, Tv to movies. If you are an autograph hunter then you were definitely going to find a name that you knew and liked.

The doors officially opened at 4pm, but if you had VIP, Press or 3-day passes then you could get advance access at 2pm. This meant that a lot of people were wandering the floors early. For a Friday, there was a lot of cosplay right from the start and we have a lot of it here for you. I took a lot of photos today, but here are the Walk on Cosplay Contest Photos (and a few others).

There is a special Preview on Friday at 2 PM for VIP, Ultimate, and 3-Day pass holders who purchase in advance.
