Animazement is an annual three-day anime convention held during May at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is traditionally held over Memorial Day weekend, which was May 22-25 this year.
The convention is family-friendly and run by unpaid staff and volunteers. Animazement was formed by the Triangle Area Anime Society (TAAS) in 1997. The first event was a 36-Hour Anime Marathon event with an attendance of over 200 people.

The convention featured a wide range of panels, workshops and events. A few fun things to attend included the Karaoke, Maid Cafe and game room. The vendor hall and artist alley were bustling with activity, offering a plethora of anime merchandise, art, and unique crafts. The convention also hosts an impressive lineup of industry, cultural, and musical guests. A few of this years included voice actors Laura Stahl and Khoi Dao, musician Taishi Yamabe, and director Koji Nagai.. Their participation in panels and meet-and-greet sessions provided fans with memorable interactions.
