Florida PolyCon is an annual student-run event held at Florida Polytechnic University in Lakeland, FL. The 2025 event was held Saturday March 15. It is a celebration of geek culture, including anime, science fiction, horror, comics, and video games. This is a small, well loved event that is popular with the Southern Florida Community.
This one-day event featured over 100 vendors, craftspeople and artists. There were several panels, gaming tournaments and demonstrations on site as well. Cosplayers brought iconic characters to life, adding a colorful and immersive element to the event. Cosplay contests, and photo opportunities allowed attendees to connect with like-minded fans and showcase their creativity.
