Lake Collect-a-Con is a series of small town conventions held in Lake Square Mall in Leesburg, Florida. This year Lake Collect-A-Con Halloween Fest brought a spooky, family-friendly celebration to Lake Square Mall in Leesburg, Florida, on Sunday, October 27, 2024. From 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, attendees enjoyed a day filled with horror-themed entertainment, including a collectible vendor showcase, appearances by special guests, and a cosplay costume contest. The event also marked a special tribute to the 70th anniversaries of horror classics Godzilla and Creature from the Black Lagoon, adding a nostalgic touch for monster-movie fans.
In addition, Lake Square Mall hosted its own Halloween festivities throughout October. This included “Scream Scenes” at the Mystic Manor Haunted House, which promised to deliver a heightened scare factor for thrill-seekers through October 31. On Halloween evening, a “Trick or Treat Adventure” offered children and families a safe way to trick-or-treat through participating stores from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, complete with costumed staff and plenty of treat
