MEGACON Orlando 2026 has invaded the Orange County Convention Center for four days of Fandom activity. Running March 19-22 this event is a packed weekend of Comics, Cosplay, Chaos and fandoms.

When we tell you that the place is invaded by MEGACON, we truly mean it. MEGACON has vastly outgrown the convention center, but that hasn’t stopped them from selling tickets. Thursday was an event packed with lines and Friday was worse. I can only Imagine what Saturday will being.
There are lines to get in, lines to get out, lines for food, lines for bathroom, and don’t even get me started on the lines for celebrities. The Friday crowd hit “Saturday levels” early and attendees fired off numerous complaints expressing frustration with long lines that reached capacity an hour before panels began. So if you plan anything for today, I strongly recommend you give yourself several hours of buffer time to get where you need to go.
Another major problem for almost everyone is that the cellular service inside the building is garbage. Credit card readers are working sporadically, bring cash.

The cosplay is the heart of the event, but even that was difficult on Friday. Crowds made it difficult to navigate without damaging a costume. Complaints about jostling and having parts ripped off are common. There are reports of photo shoots that were cramped and rushed due to space constraints.
Cosplay photos are provided by a neutral third party with no opinions given on the event. Cosplay photos are provided to highlight the skills and enthusiasm of the photographer and cosplayers. All opinions and facts in the article are by the author.
Despite the numerous problems Nocedo Photo Media Group still did a fantastic job capturing photos and have graciously allowed us to use them.
