New York Comic Con (NYCC) celebrated it’s 20th year from October 9-12 at the Javits Center in New York City. This spectacular pop culture event boasted and impressive celebrity guest list with names such as James McAvoy, Elliot Page, Simu Liu, Charlie Cox, and Tatiana Maslany. They also had literary and comic geniuses George R.R. Martin, R.L. Stine, Jim Lee, and J. Scott Campbell.

This staple of the convention world was the host to a variety of news and premieres for the Marvel Universe. Crowds were wowed with the premiere of the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 trailer and confirmation of a third season of X-Men ’97. Not to be outdone DC Comics announced a multi-part animation adaptation of “Batman: Knightfall”
Our past NYCC cosplay coverage can be found here: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024
For me the highlight of any convention is the cosplay and a massive event such as the NYCC does not disappoint. The amount of fan love and dedication on display in the form of walking artwork always astounds me. Thanks to artist Jorell Rivera we get to see some of the cosplay that was on site.
Jorell is the Artist/Co-Creator of GO ROBO NOW: BATTLE OF GODS. You can find him (and his art) on DeviantArt, Instagram, and Facebook.
