San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2025 was held from July 24-27 with a Preview Night on July 23. This event once again transformed the San Diego Convention Center into a vibrant hub for pop culture enthusiasm. While major studios like Marvel and DC opted for a less prominent presence in Hall H, the event still delivered a wealth of exciting announcements and fan experiences.
A highlight was the first ever Hall H appearance by George Lucas where he discussed the upcoming Lucas Museum of Narrative Art alongside Guillermo Del Toro. Fans also got sneak peeks of the new Tron and Predator movies. James Gunn’s panel on Peacemaker Season 2, featuring a costumed John Cena also made waves. Other fan favorite panels included Rick and Morty, Family Guy and updates on Gen V, and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Other massive draws in the area included Paramount+’s immersive experiences.

There is so much going on at this event that you need to pick a focus and here we choose cosplay. Every year there is a strong cosplay turnout as the fans exhibit their skills and passions. All the cosplayers, novice to professional, were an attraction in and of themselves. Even if we had a thousand photos, there is no way we could capture all the cosplays, but thanks to a little help we get some of them.
