Syfy Bartow is an annual, free, family-friendly science fiction festival held in downtown Bartow, Florida. This years event occurred on February 15th. Established over a decade ago, the event transforms the historic downtown area into a vibrant celebration of science fiction, fantasy, and pop culture. Each year features a unique theme; this years theme embraced “Villains,” focusing on the iconic antagonists from various genres.
This lively event celebrates comics, collectibles, and pop culture, attracting enthusiasts of science fiction and fantasy for a day of immersive entertainment. Syfy Bartow has become a highlight of the local community and a must-visit destination for fans of the genre. The streets of downtown Bartow are transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity as attendees of all ages don their favorite costumes and take part in the festivities. The festival offers a wide array of activities and attractions, including live music, panel discussions, kids’ activities, and a diverse range of vendors selling unique gifts, crafts, and food. Syfy Bartow hosts one of the largest science fiction car shows in the continental United States, featuring nearly 200 cars.
