Orlando, Florida once again held host to Spooky Empire which brought together horror aficionados, celebrity guests, and a vibrant community of vendors and artists for a weekend of frightful fun. The latest event was held over the weekend of June 22.

The convention, which bills itself “THE weekend for Horror, Halloween and Rock n Roll fans of all ages”, started in 2003 and is held twice a year.
Attendees flocked to the con to mingle with a star-studded lineup of horror and genre actors such as Chris Sarandon, Jessica Roth, Ray Santiago and Ken Kirzinger. The schedule was packed Q&A panels and photo ops.

Spooky Empire had a sprawling vendor room with which offered a treasure trove for collectors and enthusiasts. There were vendors and artists offering clothing, tare collectibles and macabre artwork. The convention also showcased an array of new and independent horror films, providing a platform for emerging talent in the genre.
