Anime Festival Orlando (AFO) 2026 celebrated their 25th anniversary from June 19–21 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel, in Orlando, FL.
AFO had an exceptional guest lineup, which included some top-tier voice actors and industry veterans. The guest list included Jordan Dash Cruz, Aaron Dismuke, Chris Guerrero, Jill Harris, and Gabe Kunda who packed out Q&A panels all weekend. Legendary voice director and actor Tony Oliver was present to give fans and aspiring creators a look into the world of professional voice acting and directing. The smaller scale of this conventions gave fans an opportunity to have meaningful connections with the celebrities and they weren’t filed in and out like cattle.
Besides panels and celebrities there was also the live action event, “Tales of Orlandia”. This is a fun interactive show and game that runs throughout the entire event. Attendees affect the story through quests, card games, and other forms of gameplay. Other events included the Unlimited Rave Works dance party and the Moon Prism Pride Charity Concert.
For the cosplay community, the highlight of the weekend was return of the Cosplay contest which brought out an incredible display of art, crafting, fabrication, and intricate needlework from some of Florida’s finest builders. Thanks to Nocedo Photo Media Group, we get to see some of the fantastic cosplay that was walking the floors. This is only a fraction of the photos they took, be sure to check out their Flikr page for more great shots.
