The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) 2025 ran over the weekend of April 11-13 and we are on site to get you some great cosplay photos and talk about the con.
The C2E2 tickets sold pretty well this year. Tickets for Saturday, 3-day passes, and Kids 3-day passes sold out before the event.
I have to say that Friday was a fantastic day, I liked the floor layout and found it easy to negotiate. I did, however, have one brief moment that had me upset with ReedPop and C2E2. I quickly realized the error of my ways, it wasn’t them had done wrong, it was people.
For as long as I can remember the bathrooms downstairs at the middle of the center have been gender neutral. When we first went downstairs I noticed that the gender neutral signs were missing, I was upset and ready to complain. On closer inspection I saw shreds of paper, some jerk had apparently ripped the signs down. I did see that the signs were still up on the back wall. When I returned a few hours later I saw that someone had replaced the signs. Well Done C2E2.
They have done this for years and no one has had a problem. This allows parents to use the bathrooms with children, people to help each other with costumes and keeps the bathrooms from building huge lines. You just use whichever is available. It does not matter whether your in a dress, armor, or a wookie costume, the bathrooms are for all. No one should care if you sit, stand, squat, or hover, unless you make a mess and don’t clean up.
