Cradle-Con is a comic book convention held annually on Long Island at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, NY. This event started in 2018 and, with the exclusion of COVID, has been running ever since. this year the event ran May 17th and 18th.
This event hosts a few comic and voice acting guests. The 2025 guest list included comic creators James O’Barr and Larry Hama, and the talented voice actors from the cartoon Thundercats and Silverhawks. Also present were several local cosplay groups and cosplayers. This is a great local event that helps support a museum. These smaller conventions are also a great way to get to know the local community of cosplayers and fellow comic and cosplay enthusiasts.
