FAN EXPO Chicago ran August 14-16 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. This is one of the largest pop culture conventions in the Midwest and draws over 75,000 fans. This years event showcases a massive celebrity lineup with several major cast reunions, comic creators, cosplay competitions, and extensive shopping opportunities.
There was a lot of cosplay on Saturday and there is no way it could all be captured. One of the best ways to find the cosplay and to show off your cosplay is through the red carpet. This is an event that happens daily. People line up, present a card with their character name and they are announced as they walk onto the red carpet. This is your 10 seconds of glory as you march out in front of a crowd and give them your best post.
