PortConMaine started in 2002 at the University of Southern Maine. The convention typically offers artists alley, board game tournaments, collectible card games competitions, cosplay competitions, dealers room, film screenings, karaoke, and video gaming three-day anime and gaming convention in Portland, Maine. It is a smaller convention with under 5,000 attendees, but some of those are the best cons; they are what conventions were before they became mainstream.
