WonderCon ran March 28th-30th at the Anaheim Convention Center. This is the sister show to Comic-Con International. WonderCon was held in the San Francisco Bay area from 1987 – 2011, then moved to Anaheim for 2012. It had a brief move to Los Angeles in 2017 due to construction on the Anaheim Convention Center.

WonderCon technically is an annual comic book, science fiction, and film convention. In reality it is a celebration of everything pop culture. There is a heavy emphasis on movies and television, but comic books, video games, and animation are also heavily represented. The weekend includes panel discussions and presentations covering a broad range of interests, studio sneak peeks and a variety of vendors from Marvel to small-time graphic artists.
Cosplay photos are provided by a neutral third party with no opinions given on the event. Cosplay photos are provided to highlight the skills and enthusiasm of the photographer and cosplayers. All opinions and facts in the article are by the author.
