Kitsune Kon 2026 is an annual, fan-run three-day anime and gaming convention held every July in Green Bay, Wisconsin, at the KI Convention Center. This years event ran over the weekend of July 10-12. This 14 year old year event has more than tripled since its inaugural event in 2011. Thousands of fans come to Kitsune Kon to celebrate Japanese culture, anime, inclusivity, and cosplay.
This is a fun family-friendly event with activities that include a manga cafe, several cosplay events, foam sword fighting, and video and table top gaming rooms. Each gaming room had a packed schedule of their events. Evening activities included Friday and Saturday night raves with guest DJs and a K-Pop battle.
Kitsune is known for their guests list. This year they invited several industry veterans including Justin Cook, Daman Mills, Michelle Ruff, Trina Nishimura, and Stephanie Sheh. Fans could visit with their favorites at Q&A panels, autograph sessions, and professional photo ops throughout the weekend.
Cosplay was a major focus for the weekend, with Saturday evening’s Cosplay Masquerade which showcased craftsmanship in Novice, Journeyman, and Master divisions. Located in Little Suamico, Wisconsin, Ravencrest Haunted Park is twenty-acres of high-energy, immersive scares. The park features three main attractions:
- Delirium – a haunted forest and mansion trail
- The Zombus – an interactive ride where passengers use mounted paintball guns to shoot back against hordes of aggressive undead
- Graveyard Gellyball, a fast-paced, fog-filled shootout arena.
They also feature a DJ, food trucks, and a themed bar. Ravencrest is the perfect place for the upcoming spooky season.
