SiouxperCon 2026 took place from Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the Sioux Falls Convention Center & Arena in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This event was founded in 2016, holding its inaugural event from April 15 through April 17, 2016, and the event has grown since then. SiouxperCon is a non-profit, volunteer-run convention that donates its proceeds to local charities, including Make-A-Wish, REACH Literacy, and the JY6 Foundation.
The 2026 guest lineup included Mark Rolston, Jenette Goldstein, Chandler Riggs, Larry Hankin, Robby Benson, Susanna Malak, and Dave Goelz and Matt Vogel. They had voice from several major video game and anime franchises as well as comic writers. They provided a full slate of Q&A panels and interactive discussions as well as photo ops and autograph opportunities. On the main floor, there was an expansive Artist Alley and vendor market filled with original artwork, vintage comic books, indie publishings, and custom collectibles. Beyond the floor the schedule featured competitive gaming tournaments and a dedicated STEM-focused Kid Zone.
Cosplay remained a core element of the event, with attendees wearing detailed builds and competing in formal craftsmanship showcases. Thanks to Sheila Rozeboom we get to see some of the fantastic cosplay that was on display.
