South Texas Comic Con (STXCC) is held annually at the McAllen Convention Center in McAllen, Texas. For the 2026 season, the event took place from April 24–26, 2026.
As one of the largest fan conventions in the region, STXCC brings together a massive creative collective celebrating the “Three C’s”—Comics, Conventions, and Cosplay—alongside gaming, anime, and film.
The 2026 guest list featured heavy hitters including Sam Jones, Cheech Marin, and Kevin Smith. Thier lineup of voice actors was just as strong with Eric Vale, Colleen Clinkenbeard, and Christy Carlson Romano.
The convention offered a high-octane Gaming Arena featuring tournaments for Sparking Zero and Marvel vs. Capcom 2. They also had a sprawling Artist Alley and Vendor Market which were a treasure trove of indie commissions, rare collectibles, and 3D-printed greebles.
The Cosplay Championship is a major staple of the event where pro-builders showcase technical construction and high-tier craftsmanship. Beyond that were specialized cosplay meetups and photo shoots.
