FanimeCon is an annual four-day event held in San Jose, CA. This years event took place May 23-26 and was held at the San Jose Convention Center.
This event started in 1994 when several anime clubs combined their ideas and passion. FanimeCon has been going strong since. They now bill themselves as Northern California’s largest anime convention and considering they have an annual estimated attendance of over 30,000 they may deserve that title.
This convention is packed with activities including games, tournaments, panels and hours of video programming. They also have artists alley, dealers hall, and a car show.
