SwampCon was held over the weekend of March 29th at the University of Florida. This two-day event is a free, fan-run convention that started in 2011 and has become one of largest student-run conventions in the region.
This is an inclusive, family-friendly event. All fandoms, genres, cultures, religions, and genders were welcome to celebrate their fandoms is a safe environment.
They featured several musical based guests such as Azazus, None Like Joshua, and Mac Ro. Industry guests included comic writer Beetle Moses and Voice Actor Kenny Armstrong. There was also a lot of cosplayer guests. This fun event also hosted a lip Sync contest, cosplay contest and a Dance Contest.
Cosplay photos are provided by a neutral third party with no opinions given on the event. Cosplay photos are provided to highlight the skills and enthusiasm of the photographer and cosplayers. All opinions and facts in the article are by the author.
